<h4><strong>ECVC Associate Attorney</strong></h4><h4><strong>Location</strong>: San Francisco, CA</h4><h4><strong>Required Experience: </strong> 4 – 8 years</h4><h4><br /></h4><h4><strong>About the role:</strong></h4><h4>We are seeking an ECVC Associate Attorney with <strong>4–8 years of law firm experience in venture capital and/or mergers and acquisitions</strong> to join our client’s ECVC practice.</h4><h4><br /></h4><h4><strong>Key Responsibilities </strong></h4><h4>- Lead transactions and interact directly with founders, CEOs, management teams, and boards of directors</h4><h4>- Advise high-growth businesses at all stages, from pre-seed to pre-IPO</h4><h4>- Work on SAFEs, preferred stock financings, and corporate governance matters</h4><h4>- Counsel management on matters ranging from formation to exits</h4><h4>- Advise venture capital firms and institutional investors on emerging growth companies</h4><h4>- Build relationships within the private technology and life sciences company ecosystem</h4><h4>- Work with clients across industries including AI, digital health, defense tech, life sciences, electronic gaming, and fintech</h4><h4><br /></h4><h4><strong>Required Experience &amp; Skills</strong></h4><h4>- 4 – 8 years of experience in corporate law with a focus on ECVC and/or M&amp;A</h4><h4><strong>- Current experience at an AM Law 50 firm – REQUIRED</strong></h4><h4>- Strong background in venture capital transactions and emerging company representation</h4><h4>- Excellent academic credentials</h4><h4>- Superior communication and client-facing skills</h4><h4>- Ability to manage multiple complex transactions independently</h4>
