Job Title: Linux System Developer Job Type: Onsite Location: Bengaluru Experience: 4-8 years   Basic Qualification: - <ol><li>Bachelor’s/master's degree in computer engineering or similar technical field </li><li>4-8 years’ experience doing hands-on software development in Linux and Android environment. </li></ol> Skills &amp; Domain: - <ol><li>Proficient in Linux System Development including Linux kernel/Drivers and Linux System services </li><li>Excellent debugging skills using GDB and similar tools in Linux environment </li><li>Device bring up experience is good to have </li><li>Experience in build systems like Yocto and Android AOSP is highly desired </li><li>Programming Languages: C, C++ and Python, bash scripting languages. </li><li>Knowledge of Build tools like Automake, Cmake </li><li>Linux System Programming - Processes Threads, IPC, Synchronization, Signals </li><li>Optimize system performance, boot time, and power consumption </li><li>Troubleshoot hardware-software integration issues </li><li>Experience with GIT version control systems </li></ol> Day 2 Activities <ol><li>Profiling system tasks for product specific use-cases to understand CPU and memory consumption. Fix issues and tuning to enhance performance. </li><li>Automation scripts development for white box dev test cases for products and concepts with different configuration options and use-cases. Build automation tools &amp; utilities. </li><li>Execution of the Automation suites in DUT (e.g.: HVT, EVT, PVT, EVK etc.) and analysis of results and triaging of issues </li><li>Reproducing issues reported from field or QA on required DUTs </li><li>Perform debug activities and triage issues reported by QA or other teams. </li></ol>
