<p>We’re hiring a <strong>Junior ML/AI Engineer</strong> to help build the AI features that power Synqd — from smart scheduling suggestions to context-aware user prompts. You’ll work under the guidance of a senior ML architect and contribute to model prototyping and integration. This is a scoped, paid contract role capped at 100 hours.</p><h4><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></h4><ul><li>Develop lightweight ML models (classification, ranking, or clustering)</li><li>Assist in building time management or user behavior prediction systems</li><li>Integrate models into production backend services</li><li>Perform basic feature engineering, testing, and validation</li><li>Collaborate with frontend/backend devs for deployment</li></ul><h4><strong>Qualifications:</strong></h4><ul><li>Proficient in Python and ML libraries (e.g., Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch)</li><li>Experience with recommendation engines or behavioral ML models is a plus</li><li>Understanding of overfitting, regularization, and model evaluation</li><li>Familiarity with REST APIs and backend model integration</li><li>Strong documentation and communication habits</li></ul>
