About the Role

We are looking for a QA Engineer with 2+ years of experience in Manual and Automation Testing. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in Selenium WebDriver with Java, TestNG, Page Object Model (POM), Appium, and Playwright with JavaScript.

The candidate will be responsible for testing web and mobile applications, developing and maintaining automation scripts, executing test cases, identifying defects, and ensuring the quality and reliability of software releases.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements, functional specifications, and user stories to identify testing requirements.
• Design, prepare, and execute test cases, test scenarios, and test data.
• Perform Functional, Regression, Smoke, Sanity, Integration, and System Testing.
• Identify, document, track, and verify defects using defect management tools such as Jira.
• Develop, maintain, and enhance automation scripts for web and mobile applications.
• Execute automation test suites and analyze test execution results.
• Investigate test failures and collaborate with developers to identify and resolve issues.
• Work closely with Developers, Business Analysts, Product Managers, and other stakeholders to improve product quality.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
• Prepare test execution reports, defect reports, and test summary reports.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and automation frameworks.

Required Skills

Manual Testing

• Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Defect Life Cycle.
• Good understanding of test case design and execution.
• Hands-on experience in Functional, Regression, Smoke, Sanity, and Integration Testing.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Ability to analyze requirements and identify positive, negative, and edge-case scenarios.

Web Automation Selenium

• Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver using Java.
• Strong knowledge of Selenium locators, WebDriver commands, waits, Actions Class, and JavaScript Executor.
• Experience with TestNG, including:
• Annotations
• Assertions
• Data Providers
• Listeners
• Reporting
• Hands-on experience with Page Object Model (POM).
• Knowledge of Maven build management.
• Experience in maintaining and enhancing automation frameworks.
• Experience handling dynamic elements and synchronization issues.

Mobile Automation Appium

• Hands-on experience with Appium automation.
• Experience testing Android mobile applications.
• Knowledge of Appium Inspector and mobile element identification.
• Experience automating mobile gestures such as tap, swipe, and scroll.
• Experience testing applications on real devices and emulators.

Playwright JavaScript

• Hands-on experience with Playwright using JavaScript.
• Experience in web UI automation and end-to-end testing.
• Strong understanding of Playwright locators, assertions, and auto-waiting.
• Experience with cross-browser testing using Chromium, Firefox, and WebKit.
• Knowledge of Playwright Test Runner and reporting.
• Experience implementing Page Object Model (POM) using Playwright.
• Basic experience with API testing using Playwright is preferred.
