About the Role

Key Responsibilities

SAP BTP Solution Architecture

• Design and implement scalable end-to-end solutions on SAP BTP aligned with business and IT objectives.
• Develop architecture blueprints and technical solution frameworks for integrations, extensions, analytics, and data management.
• Define high-availability, resiliency, and disaster recovery strategies for SAP cloud environments.

Platform Administration & Configuration

• Configure and manage SAP BTP environments and related cloud services such as SAP IAS/IPS, Cloud ALM, and CTMS.
• Handle platform administration, technical configurations, user management, connectivity, and security setup.
• Monitor system performance and ensure platform stability and compliance.

Integration & Development

• Integrate SAP S/4HANA, ECC, and third-party applications using APIs, SAP Integration Suite, middleware solutions, and SAP Cloud Connector.
• Develop and enhance:
• ABAP Objects
• CAPM Applications
• CDS Views
• Fiori Elements Applications
• Support API management and integration governance using SAP APIM.

SAP AI & Innovation

• Work on SAP AI capabilities and support Joule configurations within SAP environments.
• Evaluate and implement innovative SAP BTP services and cloud solutions.

Technical Leadership

• Collaborate with Solution Architects, developers, and business stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Guide development teams on SAP BTP best practices, cloud-native development, DevOps, and CI/CD methodologies.
• Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and mentoring when required.

Project Delivery

• Participate in SAP BTP project planning, estimation, technical documentation, and implementation activities.
• Ensure timely delivery following structured development and deployment standards.

Required Qualifications

• 4–8 years of experience in SAP technologies with strong expertise in SAP BTP.
• Hands-on experience in SAP BTP administration and architecture.
• Strong understanding of SAP cloud integrations and enterprise architecture.
• Experience with SAP Integration Suite, APIs, middleware, and SAP Cloud Connector.
• Knowledge of SAP AI offerings and Joule configurations.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly experienced Senior SAP BTP Developer / Technical Lead to design, develop, and maintain cloud-native applications and integrations on the SAP Business Technology Platform (SAP BTP). The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in SAP BTP services, SAP CAP, SAP Fiori/UI5, API development, and SAP S/4HANA extensions.

The role involves building scalable side-by-side extensions, implementing secure APIs, mentoring team members, and supporting enterprise-grade SAP transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

SAP BTP Development

• Design, develop, deploy, and maintain applications on SAP BTP
• Build side-by-side extensions for SAP S/4HANA while avoiding core modifications
• Develop cloud-native applications using:
• SAP CAP (Cloud Application Programming Model)
• SAP Fiori/UI5
• SAP Build Apps
• Create scalable backend services using Java, JavaScript, and Node.js

Integration & API Management

• Design and implement RESTful and OData APIs
• Develop and maintain enterprise integration patterns
• Inventory, document, audit, and secure APIs
• Ensure application performance, scalability, security, and maintainability

SAP Functional & Technical Collaboration

• Work with SAP Signavio and SAP Ariba (buyer-guided forms)
• Collaborate with cross-functional business and technical teams
• Participate in architectural reviews, governance discussions, and audits
• Support deployment activities and transition to operations/support teams

Leadership & Documentation

• Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance
• Prepare technical documentation, deployment guides, and solution designs
• Contribute to best practices for SAP BTP development and cloud architecture
