<h2><strong>Job Title: </strong>AI Prompt Engineer </h2><h3><strong>Duration:</strong> 2 months Contract</h3><p><strong>Location:</strong> Remote</p><h3><br /></h3><h3><strong>About the Role</strong></h3><p>We are looking for an experienced <strong>AI Prompt Engineer</strong> who can design, optimise, and manage high-quality prompts for advanced AI models. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with LLMs, a strong understanding of AI workflows, and the ability to translate business needs into effective AI-driven solutions.</p><h2><br /></h2><h2><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></h2><ul><li>Develop, refine, and optimise prompts for LLMs (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, etc.) to generate accurate and context-aware outputs.</li><li>Collaborate with product, engineering, and business teams to understand requirements and build AI-powered workflows.</li><li>Fine-tune and test prompt variations to improve performance, accuracy, and reliability.</li><li>Build reusable prompt libraries and documentation for scaling AI use cases.</li><li>Conduct experiments, analyse model responses, and apply data-driven improvements.</li><li>Integrate prompts into applications, chatbots, automation tools, and internal systems.</li><li>Stay updated with the latest advancements in generative AI and apply best practices.</li><li>Troubleshoot issues with model behaviour, hallucinations, or inconsistent outputs.</li></ul><h2><br /></h2><h2><strong>Required Skills &amp; Experience</strong></h2><ul><li>3–4 years of experience in AI/ML, NLP, LLM prompt engineering, or related fields.</li><li>Strong understanding of large language models and generative AI technology.</li><li>Proficiency in prompt design patterns (zero-shot, few-shot, chain-of-thought, role-based prompting, etc.).</li><li>Experience with Python and APIs for OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, or similar platforms.</li><li>Familiarity with vector databases, RAG pipelines, and AI agent workflows (preferred).</li><li>Ability to analyse outputs, identify patterns, and iterate rapidly.</li><li>Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.</li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills.</li></ul><h2><br /></h2><h2><strong>Nice-to-Have Skills</strong></h2><ul><li>Experience with fine-tuning LLMs or building custom AI models.</li><li>Knowledge of machine learning concepts and data preprocessing.</li><li>Exposure to frameworks like LangChain, LlamaIndex, or similar.</li><li>Understanding of UI/UX for conversational apps or chatbots.</li></ul>
