<h3><strong>Job Summary:</strong></h3><p>We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented <strong>Custodial Worker</strong> to perform routine cleaning and maintenance duties to ensure a safe, clean, and well-maintained environment. The ideal candidate will take pride in their work and help uphold facility standards for cleanliness and sanitation.</p><p><br /></p><h3><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></h3><ul><li>Clean and sanitize restrooms, offices, hallways, classrooms, and common areas</li><li>Sweep, mop, vacuum, and buff floors; dust and polish surfaces</li><li>Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste in accordance with safety and sanitation guidelines</li><li>Restock supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper</li><li>Clean windows, glass doors, and mirrors</li><li>Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or supply needs to the supervisor</li><li>Assist with minor maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs or unclogging drains</li><li>Follow all safety protocols and use cleaning equipment and chemicals responsibly</li><li>Lock/unlock doors and secure buildings when required</li><li>Perform other custodial or facility support duties as assigned</li></ul><p><br /></p><h3><strong>Qualifications:</strong></h3><ul><li>High school diploma or equivalent preferred</li><li>Previous custodial, janitorial, or housekeeping experience is a plus</li><li>Ability to operate cleaning equipment (e.g., buffers, vacuums, floor scrubbers)</li><li>Basic understanding of cleaning chemicals and safety procedures</li><li>Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs., stand/walk for extended periods, and perform repetitive tasks</li><li>Strong attention to detail and time management</li><li>Ability to work independently or as part of a team</li><li>Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or rotating shifts as needed</li></ul>
