KPMG -Manager – Education PMU Location: Vijayawada, Andhra PradeshService Line- Government &amp; Public SectorSub Service Line- Education &amp; Skill Development <h3>About the Role:</h3>We are seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to join our Education Project Management Unit (PMU) in Vijayawada. The Consultant will play a critical role in driving education reform initiatives in collaboration with state education departments. This role demands strong project management capabilities, data-driven decision-making, and stakeholder engagement across various levels of the government ecosystem.Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Lead and manage education reform projects in collaboration with SSA, SCERT, and Samagra Shiksha teams.</li><li>Design and implement project strategies, monitoring frameworks, and cadence structures.</li><li>Draft high-quality reports, policy documents, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.</li><li>Monitor field-level implementation of education programs and evaluate outcomes against predefined indicators.</li><li>Analyze large-scale education datasets to inform policy and program decisions.</li><li>Engage with state, district, and mandal-level officers to ensure smooth execution of initiatives.</li><li>Contribute to system transformation projects at the state or national level.</li><li>Support capacity building and Training of Trainers (ToT) programs at scale.</li><li>Provide technical expertise in school assessments and evaluation frameworks.</li></ul>Required Qualifications &amp; Experience:Education:<ul><li>Master’s degree in Education, Development Studies, Social Work, or MBA.</li><li>Bachelor’s degree in Education, Social Work, Development Studies, or Engineering.</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>8 years of relevant experience in project management and education sector reforms.</li><li>Proven experience in stakeholder engagement, team management, and budget planning.</li><li>Hands-on experience with monitoring tools and evaluation frameworks.</li><li>Strong understanding of state education systems and schemes like NEP 2020 and Samagra Shiksha.</li><li>Prior work in government ecosystems at various administrative levels.</li><li>Experience in Andhra Pradesh and fluency in Telugu is highly preferred.</li></ul>Skills &amp; Competencies:<ul><li>Excellent report writing and documentation skills.</li><li>Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and data visualization tools.</li><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.</li><li>Ability to work independently and manage multiple stakeholders.</li><li>Knowledge of education assessments and capacity-building methodologies.</li></ul>Preferred Attributes:<ul><li>Experience working on state/national level education transformation projects.</li><li>Exposure to large-scale capacity building and ToT initiatives.</li><li>Familiarity with education data systems and analytics platforms.</li></ul>
