<h1>Job Description: Lead Salesforce Developer</h1><p>100% Remote</p><p>Long-Term W2 contract</p><h2>Roles and Responsibilities</h2><ul><li>Guide and mentor a team of Salesforce developers to consistently deliver high-quality, scalable solutions.</li><li>Collaborate closely with business analysts, project managers, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.</li><li>Design, develop, test, and implement custom applications and enhancements on the Salesforce platform.</li><li>Establish and maintain development best practices, processes, and guidelines to ensure the highest quality of deliverables.</li><li>Oversee the integration of Salesforce with other systems, ensuring seamless communication across platforms.</li><li>Drive strategic initiatives to enhance Salesforce's capabilities and efficiency within the organization.</li><li>Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Salesforce advancements and propose innovative methods to benefit from new functionalities.</li><li>Provide technical leadership and uphold a vision for Salesforce architecture that aligns with overall IT strategy.</li></ul><h2>Required Qualifications</h2><ul><li>Proven experience in leading Salesforce development teams and managing large-scale Salesforce projects.</li><li>Demonstrated expertise in Apex, the core programming language for Salesforce.</li><li>In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with Lightning Component Framework and Salesforce Lightning Design System.</li><li>Strong understanding of Salesforce data model, security principles, and architectural patterns.</li><li>Previous experience with Salesforce integration tools and REST/SOAP APIs is highly desirable.</li><li>Excellent communication skills to effectively present complex technical information to diverse stakeholders.</li><li>Ability to work independently in a remote setting while maintaining collaboration and team cohesion.</li><li>Salesforce Platform Developer II or equivalent certification is highly recommended.</li></ul><h2>Key Responsibilities</h2><ul><li>Lead the technical development and implementation of complex Salesforce solutions, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.</li><li>Architect and design robust, scalable Salesforce solutions that align with client requirements and industry specifications.</li><li>Identify, diagnose, and resolve technical issues and challenges, implementing solutions promptly to minimize disruptions.</li><li>Facilitate code reviews and ensure code quality, accuracy, and compliance with company standards are met or exceeded.</li><li>Work effectively with cross-functional teams to understand system dependencies and influence organizational strategy regarding Salesforce usage.</li><li>Provide training and knowledge sharing sessions to team members and other departments to enhance understanding and usage of Salesforce capabilities.</li><li>Continuously evaluate and improve development processes, tools, and techniques to drive efficiency and innovation.</li></ul>
